Literary cafe "Lazhechnikov"

The Lazhechnikov Cafe is named after a famous and beloved historical novelist in the 19th century, a prominent public figure, Ivan Ivanovich Lazhechnikov (1790-1869), a native of Kolomna, a man with an unusual fate, whose works Pushkin admired.
The cafe is located in an old building on the street named after the writer (Lazhechnikov, 13), located in the Kolomna Kremlin, directly opposite its ancient towers and magnificent monastery, not far from Cathedral Square, it is a convenient place to relax while walking around Old Kolomna.
And the interiors of the cafe themselves seem to take us back to the past, and almost every thing in them is not accidental, but with its own story, which is woven into the general story of the ancient, the art of cooking and just the art of the past centuries.
In the cafe you can browse through and buy Lazhechnikov's books, as well as a whole amazing series "Kolomna text" — about the history of Kolomna, shown through the eyes of famous and not so famous foreigners and compatriots.
