Museum-residence “Artkommunalka. Erofeev and others"

Museum-residence “Artkommunalka. Erofeev and others "- a kind of" machine

of time." Rising to the second floor, you find yourself in a different era - the one that Vladimir Vysotsky sang about: "Everyone lived on a par, the corridor system: there is only one toilet for thirty-eight rooms." There are fewer rooms here, but the atmosphere of Soviet life is recreated to the smallest detail. For example, in the room of a Komsomol member, picking up a bottle of Krasnaya Moskva, you can literally feel what the Soviet youth breathed. On the tour you will be told about the fate and personal stories of the former residents - this is a real "communal Odyssey". After a detailed acquaintance with the apartment and its past, you will be invited to the very heart of the communal apartment - to the kitchen. Serious neighborhood battles were in full swing here and public issues were resolved. Hospitable hosts will treat you to branded sausages with green peas and give you tea with dryers and sweets. Venedikt Erofeev is mentioned in the name of the museum not by chance. The writer studied at the Kolomna Pedagogical Institute and worked as a loader in the wine and vodka department of the store, which was located on the first floor of the building. In memory of Venedikt Erofeev, the Artkommunalka Museum simultaneously operates as an art residence, where writers and artists from different parts of Russia and the world create new works.
